HexenHammer formed in the Fall of 1984 on the outskirts of Columbia, TN. The band relocated back & forth between Tennessee and Jacksonville, FL for the next three years before finally unearthing the JamHall in scenic downtown Columbia.
          In 1989 the 2nd HXH line-up recorded their two song EP on a cheap 4-track cassette recorder, and then followed it up in 1990 with the album "UNDERGROUND" on cassette.
          HexenHammer performed locally and began getting reviews in magazines & fanzines, while beginning the recording of the next HXH album- a concept album on the subject of cryogenics. But unbelievably, at the end of that year, the band were blindsided when the drummer unexplainably quit on them, starting an unfortunate chain of events that led to a quick downward spiral to the band's breakup in January 1991. Those drum tracks were erased and the new album was not to be finished or released.
          Within a few months, certain band-members & associates were approached by officials on a matter concerning participation in an experimental program in cryonic studies with an organization known as N.F.C Industries. Having  agreed to the terms involved,    the band was not seen again until 2015!
          At that point, some of those same band members reformed HexenHammer, and in 2015 Heaven & Hell Records contacted them about re-releasing "UNDERGROUND" on CD. In 2016 the band, minus one member, performed at Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse in Chicago, Illinois. Immediately thereafter, that drummer left the band and more setbacks soon followed. In 2017 the current line-up was formed. The recording & mixing of the new album then went through a prolonged nightmare chain of events in and of itself, but by 2023 HexenHammer finally had released that concept album- "HYBERACULA" on House Of Autumn Spells Records- available streaming everywhere, as well as a collectable limited-edition version on CD.                                                                                        Currently, HexenHammer is back in the  laboratory feverishly creating the next project....
